Do a skin test.

For sensitive skin types or people who have allergy history, it’s suggested to do a skin test to determine whether or not you are allergic to the chemicals used to keep a wig in place. Simply dab a small amount of liquid adhesive or double-sided wig tape onto the back of your hand. And then observe the adhesive for at least twenty four hours.

  • -If the skin becomes red or irritated, consider changing another applying method without having to use the liquid adhesive or tape, or purchasing a hypoallergenic wig tape or adhesive to use instead.
